Help us grow

The one thing everyone seems to be clear on when it comes to farming is it is a ton of work.  We could use your help!  If you are a voucher holder/CSA member and would like to come out to the farm and lend a hand please let us know.  There will be lots of opportunities on the farm including cleaning up, putting in infrastructure, rehabbing the barn and the equipment shed, building fence, greenhouses, weeding, planting, helping with harvest…..the list is long.  If you are interested in volunteering and on-farm events, please use the contact form below, and we will put you on our list! You can also check the weekly post (above) for upcoming work parties and events.

Give a tree, shrub, or perennial

Can’t use a voucher or make it to the farmers market, but want to support the farm?  Here are a few ways you can help us plant for the long run:

The heirloom orchard:  A $50 gift will buy two heirloom trees for our orchard of apples, pears, plums and nuts.  We love pie and cider as well as fresh fruit, and plan to plant varieties with these goals in view.

The edible hedgerow:  A $35 gift will buy 3 plants for our edible hedgerow that will support people, livestock, wildlife and pollinators.  The hedgerow will consist of a shrubby mix of natives, ornamentals, browse, fruits and nuts.

The native plant restoration project:  A $25 gift will buy several plants to help restore our riparian and wetland habitats.

The perennial garden:  A $15 gift will buy perennial plants including artichokes, lavender, perennial herbs, berries and flowers.

Have other ideas on how you can help us grow?  Let us know.  Use this form to let us know how you would like to help.  And thanks so much for your support!
